What a fantastic, team building weekend for the athletes on the Clarington Toros Atom AE squad! They battled hard to get to the gold medal finals of the Canadian Cup 'A' Tournament in Montreal. Some very impressive performances from all players, putting relentless pressure on opposing teams and sporting a never-say-die attitude. After finishing first overall in round robin action, the gold medal game against the Peterborough Petes saw the Toros lose in a very close game, 2-1. Go Toros!

The Clarington Toros Atom AE squad faced adversity for the first time all season in November, and the trend continued for much of the month. The undefeated streak was broken, as well as a home-win streak, followed by a disappointing tournament result. This humbling experience allowed the Toros to stop thinking about the big 'W', and to start concentrating on having fun while playing hockey again. The Toros learned a lot through the month of November; lessons that should pay dividends in the post-season.

The Clarington Toros Atom AE squad has been proving their worth against the toughest teams the Lakeshores have to offer. After a thrilling two-game weekend vs. Quinte West, the Toros were at home against Oshawa and Northumberland, both resulting in a Toros 'W'. The Toros are having fun winning, but are keeping in mind the concept that hard work is still important, and that 'anybody can beat anybody on any given day'.

The Clarington Toros Atom AE squad went up against some of the toughest teams the Lakeshores have to offer this past week, and they didn't disappoint. The athletes were determined to put their talent on display and show what they've learned in practice. The competition was tough, but the Toros prevailed, winning against both the Whitby Wildcats and the Peterborough Petes to maintain an undefeated record on the regular season.

The Clarington Toros Atom AE squad tested their pre-season conditioning against some of the toughest teams in the OMHA at the Justin Williams Tournament in Cobourg last weekend. The competition was fierce, but the Toros stood up tall to the test, and almost came away with a medal.
