Puck Challenge - 100,000 SHOTS!
The Atom AE Clarington Toros have begun their season with some pretty intense practices. There is a common goal to improve conditioning and skating speed in preparation for the regular season, and every player has bought in to hard work paying off in the long term.
On top of this rigorous training, the Toros are starting to consistently work as a team. The 5000 Puck Challenge is nearing its end, but the athletes wanted to push towards a team goal, rather than individual efforts.
These Toros would like to proudly announce that they have made it to 100,000 shots as a team! The coaches are blown away by this team goal, seeing not only a great work ethic, but the rare ability to collectively work as a team this early in the season. Time will tell how this team will perform in the season, but it is evident to the coaches that this is a group of athletes that can achieve great things when they set their mind to it.
