The magical play-off run orchestrated by our Minor Peewee A boys came to a hard-fought end in the Semi-Finals vs the Barrie Colts. Though the final points were 7 - 1 in favor of the Colts, they hardly tell the tale.

The Toros Minor Peewee A team are making us sound like a broken record. Thanks to their tenacity and will to win, and buoyed by growing support in our community, the boys have put together yet another series win against a team they hadn’t been able to beat previously. The close and hard-fought affair vs the Whitby Wildcats Blue almost went to the wire, ending 6 points to 4 for the Toros.

This past Saturday afternoon, the enthusiastic fans at the Garnet B Rickard Arena in Bowmanville got to witness what is becoming a recurring theme this playoff season: the Clarington Minor Peewee A Toros turned the tables on yet another team they couldn’t beat in the regular season, by taking their series versus the Quinte west Hawks 3 games to 1 (or 6 points to 2). 

The Minor Peewee A Toros put together a convincing 6-2 win versus the Pickering Panthers on Saturday night, to close out their first round OMHA play-down series by a combined score of – you guessed it – 6 points (3 wins) to 2 (1 loss).

It was close, and only a few seconds separated our Minor Peewee A boys from a possible date with destiny, but in the end they fell 4-3 in their Semi-Final matchup vs. the Essex Raiders.
