Successful First Action of the new Season
This past Monday, August 29, the Clarington Toros Minor Peewee A team faced off in exhibition play versus the West Hill Golden Hawks Minor Peewee A team, coming away with a solid 9 - 1 victory.
This was the boys' first game action of the season, and they showed that they are absorbing Coach Jon's lessons very well. There was lots of great passing, shots from the point, smart breakouts and energetic back-checking, and each forward line scored at least once.
Both Toros goalies played a solid game, allowing only 1 goal. Special Kudos to the Golden Hawks goalie for her outstanding performance, as the score did not reflect the quality of her play.
