Good start for the MD7 White Team
The first game of our regular season against Pickering was a success. The boys played hard from start to finish with some great back checking, positional play and offensive rushes. C. Medwid was solid in net shutting down Pickering shot after shot. The boys' hard work resulted in an 8-3 win with B. Besco scoring 5 goals 2 of them assisted by J. Mroz, and M. LittleJohn, L. Smith and K. Milne-Ross popping in 1 goal each. The defense protected their goalie and stood tough on the blue line keeping the puck in Pickering's end. The boys came out strong and showed heart throughout the game. Way to go Toros!!
