The Streak Continues
The Peterborough Petes were in town this past Sunday and our MD7 White boys were pumped and ready for the challenge. After Friday's win against Ajax, the boys had Saturday to rest up and enjoy a day off away from the rink. The rest proved to be beneficial as the boys hit the ice ready to play. The score was 1-0 for Clarington after the first period but the offence was just getting started. B. Besco lit it up with with a total of 4 goals and M. LittleJohn added to the score by popping in 2 goals of his own. The boys continued to shut Peterborough down as the defence stood strong and added a bit of impressive offence of their own. J. Mroz celebrated after he scored his first goal of the regular season after slipping one past a very talented Peterborough goalie. R. Grenke was steady for 3 straight periods allowing only 1 goal against. Our boys' hard work and efforts in practice are unquestionably paying off in games which is not only evident on the score board but also in their positional play. Continue to work hard boys as no goal was ever met without a little sweat!!
