THE TOROS HONOUR BY REMEMBERING
The Clarington Toros Peewee "AA" hockey team conducted an on-ice Remembrance Day ceremony prior to their game Thursday November 10th at Rickard Arena vs the Peterborough Petes. The players, staff, parents and fans were delighted to be joined by Mr. John Greenfield and several members of the Royal Canadian Bowmanville Legion Branch 178, as well as Clarington Councillor Ron Hooper and MP Erin O'Toole.
On behalf of the Clarington Toros organization, the team and all who were in attendance....we salute those who serve and those who sacrificed their lives, so that we can live, love and enjoy freedom and privileges such as rep hockey.
We will respect...
We will honour...
We will remember...
Special thanks to the players, team staff, team parents and Clarington staff for pulling this event together.
