Belleville AA Pre-Season Tilt Tournament
The Atom AA Toro's took to the ice this past week in the Belleville AA Pre-Season Tilt Tournament.
Opening up the tournament, the boys were dealt a hard 4-1 loss by Belleville, but quickly rallied back taking a 6-0 win over the Kingston Jr. Canadians.
Saturday brought two hard fought battles against the Halton Hills Thunder. The Toro's took a close 5-4 win in the first game, and a 6-2 victory to close out tournament day two.
Sunday morning brought the semi-finals, where the boys took on the strong Seaway Valley Rapids. It was an intense game from the start, with back and forth action throughout the game. Unfortunately the Toro's took a 6-4 loss to end the tournament.
The boys should be proud of their hard work and team play this weekend! The Toros now look toward their season home opener this coming weekend.
