Toros Take on London Tournament
The Atom AA Toros started November travelling to London to take part in the London Jr. Knights Green & White Tournament November 1-3.
Beginning day one of the tournament with a strong showing, the Toros took a 6-2 victory over the Newmarket Redmen and a 8-4 win over the Milton Winterhawks.
Saturday proved to be a challenge for the boys, with a 6-3 loss from the North York Knights and a tough 9-4 loss in a battle with the London Jr. Knights White.
The Toros finished second in their division, and battled it out with the Nickle City Jr. Sons in the quarter finals. An OT game winner of 4-3 gave the Toros the pass to the Semi's.
In the semi-final game, the boys saw the tough opponents from the Riverside Rangers who held the Toros at bay and took a 5-2 win, ending the Toros run in the tournament.
