PeeWee AE, 2015-2016 (Clarington Minor Hockey Association)

After dropping only one game in the first two rounds of the post season, the peewee AE swept the semi-final round against the Aurora Tigers. Outscoring them 15-7 to secure a spot in the OMHA Finals. Our next opponents will be the Halton Hill Thunder. Keep up the hard work and team play. GO TOROS GO!!!!

After a successful regular season filled with hard work, commitment and a never give up attitude the Toros Peewee AE team entered the OMHA playdowns against the Ajax Knights. Sweeping the Knights in three straight, outscoring them 25 to 5. Our second round opponents were the Uxbridge Stars. We won the first two games with great goaltending and lots of hard work. Losing the third game, a heartbreaker in overtime. It was the first time the team had lost a game since DEC 7th/2015. The Finley Roofing Peewee AE team coached by Shane Dignard competed in the 2015 CAN/AM Lake Placid Challenge Cup between the 19th and 21st of November. The boys went 3 out of 5 winning the bronze medal against the Ridgefield Lions with a score of 7 to 1. Also the team had 2 second place finishes in the skills competition. D.Cranswick in goal and C.Forrest, L.Plach, T.Richard, A.Rojas in the relay race. Congratulations to all the players, coaching staff and families who came out to cheer the Toros on. GO TOROS GO
