Submitted By Andrew Mundy on Friday, April 20, 2018
Remember to bring your own jersey to tryouts!!! Passports  ·

All Novice-Minor Midget Clarington players are required to purchase an $80 passport (along with $20 registration fee) prior to tryouts.·
The $80 passport covers all three levels of tryouts (AA, A and AE if available).

Appropriate Tryout Level ·
Toros follows the “level up” system - if your player was on an “A” level team last season, they must start at the “AA” level.  AE players must start at “A” (or at “AA”, if they so desire)·

Players that have played Toros in the past and left the organization, must adhere to the “level up” system (e.g. a player that played at the AE level two years ago, must start at the “A” level)·

All players trying out for Novice must start at the “AA” level·
Players entering Toros from CRHL house league for the first time (except for Novice) may begin at the “AE” level (if available).·

Players that quit Toros (medical reasons excluded) after the start of a season must start at the AA level, and inform the executive of their intention to return to Toros as soon as possible(contact Dawn Mathers, [email protected])NRPs·

NRPs must register with their own home centre·
NRPs may only try out at the AA level·
Tryouts can be purchased for $20 per session

Return to Play – Injured Players ·
Any players injured during the previous hockey season must provide the Toros Executive with a Return to Play form signed by doctor in order to tryout.

Releases If for any reason your player wishes to ask for a release from one team please note that:
Releases should be requested at the first tryout and discussed privately and directly with the coach·
Releases are not automatic; they are given at the coach’s discretion·
Releases can only be given from one level to the next, NOT from the centre Moving in/out of the area

You must be living in the Clarington area at the time of tryouts to be eligible for tryouts.

Please contact Fred Braybrook for further information.
