PEEWEE AA TOROS ARE BREAK THE ICE TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS!!
Congratulations to the Peewee AA Toros, who won the Ajax Break the Ice Tournament this past weekend!
Through the first 3 games of the round robin, the boys finished with a 2-1 record, with wins over Oakville 3-2 and West Hill 1-0.
The boys advanced to the semi-finals on Sunday, and defeated Oshawa 2-0 to move on to the finals.
In the finals, the boys faced Oakville once again. Oakville quickly jumped out to a 3-0 lead. However, the boys showed great resiliency as they battled back to tie the game 3-3 and force overtime.
In the second round of overtime, the boys completed the comeback, scoring while four on four, for a 4-3 victory.
