9 Game Unbeaten Streak
This weekend saw the boys extend their unbeaten streak to 9 as they played to a couple of ties. Saturday sw them venture up the 115 to face everybody's rival the Peterborough Petes.
With a depleted bench of only 12 the team jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead only to see it fade away. Trailing 4 -3 late in the third the Toros managed to snipe one past a solid Peterborough goalie to preserve our unbeaten streak. Final score 4-4.
Sunday the boys hosted the the Quinte Hawks. Quinte has also been surging up the standings with some solid play. Quinte scored 1st and Clarington tied it up shortly after. It was a goalie vs goalie battle and as the buzzer sounded the final score was 1-1.
Up ahead a tough week of practice before we look to extend our streak on the weekend.
