Toros tie up busy weekend
It's been a busy few weeks for the Minor Atom AA Toros, who finished off another action packed set of games this weekend.
Friday night saw the Toros take on the Whitby Wildcats. The first period had back and forth action, but no score. The Wildcats took a 2-0 lead with a goal late in the second and another early in the third.
Down but determined, the Toros dug deep with goals by Griffin, Legacy and DeBoo to come back with a 3-2 win!
The Toros were back at it Sunday afternoon against the Ajax Knights in what proved to be a fast and physical game. The Toros showed great teamwork, and dominated the game in the Ajax end. The game ended in a 1-1 tie, but the Toros should be proud of their hard work and team play in an excellent showing again the Knights!
