Toros get gold in Oshawa
The Minor Atom AA Toros brought home their second gold medal of the season this weekend, winning the Oshawa Cup tournament.
The start of seven action packed games saw a disappointing loss to the Peterborough Petes, however the boys bounced back to take wins against Stouffville, Chatam, and Oshawa in the round robin.
Semi final action saw another win, and a shutout for goalie McLean against the Glouchester Rangers.
The final game brought a rematch against Peterborough where the Toros boys brought their A game, sweeping the Pete's in a 9-0 shutout for Goalie Thomas.
