Bantam A Team Finds Team Work and Camaraderie at the Woolwich Earlybird Tournament
The Toros Bantam A team participated in the Woolwich Memorial Hockey Tournament this past weekend. As the team has a number of new faces in the line-up, the pre-season tournament was the perfect opportunity for boys to come together both on and off the ice.
While the final outcome of the games wasn't quite what was hoped for, the games did provide a number of exciting plays, including a huge 5 on 3 shorthanded goal that got all the fans cheering! Off-ice, the boys bonded over mini-stick games, swimming and a lot of pizzas!! Before heading home, the team and their families were able to partake in a number of the Waterloo area tourist attractions, including the Elora Quarries and St. Jacob's Market. With the pre-season coming to a close, the lessons learned at the Early Bird are sure to pay off when the Toros open their season this week! Go Toros Go!
