Off to the Lakeshore Finals again
The amazing group of 2008 boys from Minor Atom A have done it again. They are on there way back to the Lakeshore Finals for the second straight season were they will face off against Oshawa to try and win it all.
After a tough loss on Wednesday in game 3 of the semi finals vs Kingston the boys were determined to play hard and came focused and ready for game 4. With a short bench of only 12 skaters the boys dug deep and showed there best effort and hustle of the season.
They came out flying in the first period quickly going up 2-0 with goals by N. Snoxall-Scott and B. MacNevin and Kingston was not able to even record a shot on our goalie in the 1st period. The hustle and determination continued into the second period with goals by B. MacNevin and P. Best to make it 4-0 Toros. In the third period the boys shut Kingston down with the final score being 4-1 and the Toros only allowing 8 shots on our net all game.
On behalf of all the coaches and parents, congratulations boys! Lets keep up that hustle, fight and great team play heading into the finals. GO TOROS GO!!
