The team decided to kick off the Christmas season by working together to provide as many kids as possible with a memorable Christmas morning! With Christmas music playing, and hot chocolate flowing, the boys and coaches skated for an hour to raise money for this worthy goal! The team was raising money that they would use after the practice for a shopping trip to purchase toys and gifts that would then be donated to the Durham Regional Police Services Annual Toy Drive! The team's goal was raise a minimum of $425 and 2 bags of food, but the boys went well above and beyond all expectations and raised a whopping $1215 and 10 bags of food! After the skate, the boys broke off into their groups and went on a shopping spree!! After much careful thought and team work, the boys arrived at the Durham Police Dept. with enough toys and gifts to fill the Toy Drive Van!!
