Another Cup for the boys!!!
The Dodd and Souter Flooring MD7 Blue team won their second cup of the year taking home the B Pool championship at the 2016 St Thomas Boston Pizza Cup.
After facing some adversity in the round robin portion of the tournament the boys rallied to make it into a tie for second in pool B. In the semi final they scored a laterwinner to take the game 4-3. In the finals we took on a very tough Stouffville team who had managed to beat us 2-1 in the round robin portion of the tournament. After going down 1-0 the boys rallied with a shorthanded goal to tie the game and then in Overtime pushed through to win 2-1 and took home another medal to add to the collection.
The players and coaches worked hard all weekend and came together to get the win. On behalf of all of the players and coaches we have to thank the parents, grand parents, cousins, aunts and uncles that travelled from near and far to support them. They are always the loudest and proudest wherever we go, and support the boys as if they were their own.
