Come Support Fearless Foreman and donate some blood
Submitted By Andrew Mundy on Wednesday, March 21, 2018
This month’s blood donor clinic in Bowmanville is being held in honour of 9 year-old Adam Foreman, known by his hockey entourage as Fearless Foreman.

He was diagnosed with leukemia in the fall of 2016 and had a tough few months of treatment. Leukemia patients like Adam require many blood transfusions, with 8 donors a week needed to sustain their treatment. He’s doing much better now, but his family recognizes the need for blood for leukemia patients in the Durham region, and is inviting the Bowmanville and surrounding community to book an appointment to donate blood this March 28th. This clinic usually aims to collect just under 100 units of blood, so the Fearless Foreman wants to reach 100 for his 10th birthday.
