Déjà vu for the Minor Bantam A Toros
For the second time this month, the Bowmanville Clinic Pharmacy Minor Bantam A Toros came home with Silver. On December 28-30, the Minor Bantam A Toros competed with pure grit and determination in the Hespeler Olympics Rep Tournament. The boys went undefeated in the Round Robin and went on to face the Essex Ravens in the Semi-Finals. The crowd was on the edge of their seats, as the game went into sudden death overtime. The Toros battled hard and came away with a 3-2 victory. There was a sense of déjà vu as the top ranked Toros faced the Hespeler Shamrocks in the Finals. The Toros held a 1-0 lead in the first 2 periods. Hespeler was able to score a goal early in the third to tie it up. The Shamrocks managed to get a second goal for the game. Special thanks to our APs that made the trip out to Cambridge for the tourney.
